Houston Vacation: Hanging Around the House (10/18/10)

We hung around Mike and Jodi's house on Monday and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside. It still felt like summer in Houston even though everything was decorated for Halloween. I went for a run in the morning to try to work off all the yummy food I gorged on at the barbeque. I was amazed at how quickly it got steaming hot. That sure made running tough! When I got back, Lily enjoyed playing with my hat:

Grace and Jodee came over to play with Lily for most of the day. They brought their 2 year old brother, Nathan, who instantly fell in love with Lily. (Who wouldn't?!) They had fun playing together with a bunch of acorns and pinecones that Paul brought. Lily loved playing with the a-COINS (acorns):
